DLT Solutions was founded in 2022 by Ronan Kuczaj, a UK & Irish national resident in the BVI. Ronan has a BA in International Relations from Nottingham Trent University and an MA in South-East European Studies, from the School of Slavonic & East European Studies, UCL. He is a Chartered Director and also holds a Diploma in International Trust Management.
Ronan is an experienced international financial services professional, with an open minded and broad international perspective on both traditional and innovative business. Ronan has an extensive network of contacts, partners and resources, both in the Caribbean and internationally and is well regarded by leading professionals in the region. His approach is frank and he is known for his ability to provide pragmatic guidance on navigating challenges.
Since 2018 Ronan has been working in the blockchain, Web 3 space and quickly began consulting, advising and investing in a number of projects. His work with dynamic forward thinking entrepreneurs on top tier projects in the space catalysed his interest and generated the impetus to set up DLT, which offers a range of bespoke advisory services to blockchain projects intending to set up in the Caribbean.
Lodewijk van Setten is Director & Chief Risk Officer at DLT Solutions and Director & General Counsel at Trilitech, a prominent Tezos ecosystem entity focused on core protocol development and blockchain projects.
Lodewijk specialises in financial services & transactions, both TradFi and blockchain powered products and services. Previously, he supported State Street’s and Morgan Stanley’s asset management businesses in Europe & the UK, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas with fund formation & distribution matters, asset management transactions, securities financing & structured products, market trading structures, and M&A activities, as well as all matters regulatory. His present work at DLT Solutions includes serving as non-executive director to VASPs and incorporated dApp platforms, and assisting a diverse range of blockchain projects with strategic structuring advice, regulatory affairs, and fundraising. As General Counsel at Trilitech, he works on all matters blockchain, including core protocol and layer 2 solutions, tokenisation techniques, DAO governance structures, NFTs across gaming & art projects, and DeFi use cases.
Tara is an attorney-at-law with over 15 years of experience at leading firms in the British Virgin Islands and Barbados. She has a wealth of experience advising blockchain technology and FinTech entrepreneurs. Tara assists clients with structuring, token offerings, navigating regulatory and licensing issues, as well advising on traditional corporate and commercial pain points for start up entrepreneurs.
In addition, Tara has deep experience advising on private client issues related to trust and estate planning and is able to leverage experience in these areas for high growth entrepreneurs seeking to consolidate and secure their legacy for future generations.
Tara has served in leadership positions on various professional organisations and has made the Citywealth IFC Power Women Top 200 List in multiple years, which list recognises women of influence in government, private wealth, private client advisory and philanthropy across international financial centres. Tara is a passionate believer in the power of entrepreneurship and technology as a catalyst for the development of the Caribbean and advocates for youth empowerment in this context.
